Prescriptions notice for Bath/Shower emollients
NHS England advise that Emollient bath and shower preparations have been identified as low priority treatments due to a lack of evidence of effectiveness and recommend that they are no longer prescribed.
We are therefore in the process of removing Bath and Shower products from repeat prescriptions in a phased approach. The leaflet from NHS England explains this decision and other options available for patients.
